Even though we hosted over 90,000 guests last year at our venues across the country, we’re still regularly asked, ‘You organise Christmas parties? So what do you do for the other 11 months of the year?!’

In the early years, there was a chance of some downtime in January and February, but these days it’s a 12 month operation to get the show on the road come December. As an example, we’ve already set themes and have a good idea what the entertainment will be for our 2027 Christmas parties! Marketing will be in full flow each year come January, with theme set construction in our workshops starting as soon as we have de-rigged the previous year’s venues. There really is no let-up. 

As we’ve grown the company, the volume of equipment and number of staff that come together to make these events work, becomes truly staggering. Although our head office head count is relatively small, during December we swell to well over 1,000 staff across the different party venues. A number of our temporary events team return to work with us year after year and without them, the events simply wouldn’t happen.

It isn’t uncommon for us to send between 10 and 15 full-size artic trailers to each venue, containing enormous theme sets, complete bars and the immense amount of other equipment that gets set up within just a few days to bring the huge venues to life. And then come the end of December, it takes just 24 hours to strip a venue, pack up, and leave the space ready for its next event. 

A 12- month operation that is built by a great team at class leading venues, with the sole ambition to give our guests the best night of their year!
